We grow our plants in small batches with attention to quality, sustainability, and customer success. Whether you’re growing food for your family, creating a pollinator garden, or bringing greenery indoors, our goal is to provide healthy plants and practical knowledge that help you succeed.

Bloomin’ Things is owned by Becky and Lowell Zelinski, Ph.D., who together bring more than 70 years of experience in agriculture and agricultural education. Their work has taken them from California to North Carolina, with a lifelong passion for gardening, specialty plants, and sustainable growing. Becky founded Bloomin’ Things as a way to share her love of growing with others. A gifted gardener, she enjoys cultivating unique plants, medicinal herbs, flowers, and specialty varieties for local homes and gardens. Becky is a Haywood County Master Gardener. Volunteers and serves on the committee for the Western North Carolina Garden Symposium. Lowell continues to consult with some of the world’s largest vegetable growers in California while also supporting the day-to-day work of Bloomin’ Things.The Zelinskis live in Waynesville, where they enjoy the beauty, biodiversity, and seasonal rhythms of the Great Smoky Mountains.
